Our skin attracts free radicals at every given moment which has direct effect on our skin. Most of the time, it could be due to chemical pollutions, dusts etc. which some of them goes straight into the pores and sit there.

You can recall severally that many people complain a lot about how creams they buy never work for them and they keep changing from one product to another. From my research and observation, some of these people has a common problem which is ‘Free Radical’. Let’s look at what free radicals are from an average understanding, ‘A free radical is an atom or group of atoms that has at least one unpaired electron which is usually unstable and very reactive.

Free radicals can clog which means that dead skin cells, oils, dirt etc gets trapped in the pores which are tiny openings in your skin that releases oils and sweat from the glands. Clogged pores can lead to acne and premature aging.

The scrub helps in exfoliating the skin to remove dead skin cells which are caused primarily by free radicals. There are different types of scrubs which the most commonly mentioned ones are the exfoliating and emulsifying scrub. There are also scrubs for sensitive skin, therefore it is important that one understands their skin type and the best scrub for them but exfoliating scrub is good for most skin. Natural soaps that contains antioxidants are also very good for washing off free radicals.

In summary many products work perfectly with good scrubs. Clogged pores hinders creams from penetrating properly but goes off when scrub is used. Scrub is best used for about three times a week.
